Little Explorer Birthday Party
This Little Explorer Birthday Party theme is perfect for any little boy! Little boys are natural little explorers and love getting into pretty much anything, so this theme was perfect for this little guy’s 1st birthday!
From Mom: “My little boy turned ONE and I put all of my creativity into making it loads of fun for him and all of the guests. He is very adventurous and curious, so I picked the explorer theme. We New Yorkers LOVE our pizza, so we picked our local coal oven pizza restaurant in Manhattan called Patrizias Pizza of Manhattan.
My mom and I got together and DIY’ed most of the decor and party ideas. We had cute little hot air balloon centerpieces with sunflowers.
The cake was a huge cupcake surrounded by mini cakes with different country’s flags. We made little paper boats and the sails had the menu on it, while the place mats were beautiful vintage maps.
The guest signing book turned into his travel journal and I make entries in it every time we visit somewhere special.
Such a fun time bonding with my mom and getting creative for Micah’s birthday! Cannot wait for No. 2.
He loves airplanes, so for his outfit I got him a preppy vintage airplane print shirt with a handmade wooden compass badge. He wore a cute handmade aviator hat to top it off.
The favors were old-school kaleidoscopes with hand-drawn compass tags. The kids loved them!” What an adorable Little Explorer Birthday Party!
