Everyone is sure to have a roaring good time and forget about all their worries with this fun Boho Lion King Party designed by Amanda Fenn of Rusty Chic Decor.
“My son loves the Lion King and I thought Hakuna Matata “no worries” was the perfect theme for an end of summer birthday party. I knew I wanted to make the party unique, so I chose to put a boho spin with a colorway including orange, ivory and mocha brown.” – Amanda
Amanda did a lot of the decorations herself, including the streamer backdrop, tassel garland, balloon garland, and acrylic signs — and we absolutely loved the detail in every single one! We really liked the combination of ivory, orange, and mocha which reminds us of the famous sunset setting on the Lion King posters. The balloons, streamers, and garlands gave the party such a warm but festive feel!
We also love the idea of a Grub Station! It adds a fun and creative spin to our favorite Lion King trio’s love for a‘slimy yet satisfying’ grubs! “The food table matched the theme perfectly and was all prepared by my talented husband. The grub station featured lion cupcakes, pulled Pumbaa, and slimy yet satisfying pasta salad,” Amanda said. We also loved the awesome lion veggie and dip with the lion’s mane made out of yellow and orange bell peppers!
The other small details rounded up the warm and boho chic atmosphere of this party. The wooden handles on the spoons, adorable wooden plates, rustic wooden tables and chairs, and Edison light bulbs strung across the area really added to the warmth of the party. Live, dark green foliage here and there and the garden setup also added a natural and relaxing vibe to the atmosphere. It’s definitely a party we would love to go to!
