The color palette for this exquisite wedding styled photo shoot designed by KC Weddings and Events was chrome and hot pink, with lovely touches of crystals. By going for a glamorous, sophisticated feel, it makes the entire event feel chic and sexy. The hot pink helped to convey a feeling of playfulness and to add a pop of color to warm up the cool chrome. And the crystal? What else could be brought in so effortlessly to add an element of luxury and sparkle!

The inspiration behind this photo shoot came from a simple chandelier! It was a five-light chrome fixture with crystals inlayed in the arms, and was accented by white shades. It was undeniable and the seed had been planted for designing a shoot around that entire idea!

The bride’s gown was chosen at Laura Jacobs Bridal, which was a stunning wedding dress created by Martina Liana. It had gentle flowing layers of organza and elegant beadwork of crystals and pearls that adorned the bodice in the front and lined the mesh in the back. It was gorgeous and fit the theme perfectly.

The cocktail dress that was worn by the bride later in the evening was by Sorella Vita and was a hot pink, one-shoulder number with a flirty accent of sheer fabric down the right side. With the hint of crystal beading, it complemented the style extremely well.

Don’t forget about the groom! When the groom’s suit was seen at The Tuxxman it was the right one immediately. It is called the Silver Swagger suit by Flo Formal Alliance and the shiny, chrome-like quality make it a perfect fit with the theme. By pairing it with an ombre hot pink tie, it topped the look off perfectly.

When thinking about how the flowers were going to look, it was decided on having a crisp, white bouquet with some greenery for interest and a boutonniere to match. With roses, hydrangeas and carnations to complement the remaining areas of flowers, it worked out better than expected. Carnations are typically overlooked as a wedding flower because they are so inexpensive, but they are a perfect filler and bring color and texture to any floral arrangement.

Signature Florals was given some creative freedom to further design the centerpieces and other floral items around the styled photo shoot. They incorporated metal swirls in the bouquet and a pink, curved aluminum piece in the centerpiece. Three small floral arrangements were also created for the cocktail tables with hot pink carnations and white hydrangeas.

It was easy to envision the entire space draped in floor to ceiling white draping, which would be illuminated by hot pink uplights with touches of crystal to make the room sparkle. It created the perfect elegant and sophisticated space, with a touch of fun! In order to create a ceremony that felt grand, but still intimate, white leatherette benches were used as seating to bring the guest closer to each other and the wedding couple. By adding candles and chrome lamps, it gave the space an elegant, relaxed feel. It was a place to chat with other guests and to rest weary feet from dancing the night away!

Clear glass vases with floating candles, surrounded by white rose petals, lined the aisle as a white carpet aisle runner led to the four-post bamboo arch. The arch was draped with sheer white fabric and was tied back with crystal accents. With the help of Niche Event Rentals, who provided the furniture, and Over the Top Linens, who provided the pillows, the lounge area came to life.

A hot pink satin napkin folded in the shape of a bow, with a crystal napkin ring, sat atop a clear glass plate. A silver sequin overlay linen with a hot pink underlay linen was used for the cocktail tables. There was also a small floral arrangement used to accent the linens. Guest tables were one of the favorite parts of the event. A white scroll pattern on silver linen was placed on the table. Each place setting had a glittery placement and a mirrored charger, so the uplighting would reflect.

Silver glittered pillar and tapered candles in crystal candle holders, along with glass bowls with silver tea light holders inside, created a warm, soft glow.

To add a bit of fun to the styled photo shoot, the word LOVE was created out of wooden letters. They were then covered with a glittered sparkle and were the exact fun touch this shoot was looking for!

The cake! By using an image of clean, white fondant and silver decor with crystal accents, Ella’s Cakes took it to the next level by wrapping the cake with beautiful silver lace in the bottom and top tier, while fully covering the middle tier with edible silver glitter. Wow! A hot pink carnation was added as a cake topper.

Love-Sparkles-Cookies

And of course, there had to be cookies! Show Me Love Confections made a sugar cookie that ultimately could be used as a wedding favor for the guests. A heart-shaped cookie covered in white fondant was created, with either Love Sparkles scrolled in pink with silver sugar crystals or fully decorated with the sugar crystals on the cookies. They tasted as good as they looked!
