To start, set aside a large bowl of your oats.

Then you add in the milk and cocoa powder and mix until the ingredients come to a boil. Then add the sugar and chocolate mixture into your bowl of oats. Stir until the oats are thoroughly coated.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Start prepping by lining a baking sheet with wax paper. In a large bowl, have your oats ready.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan over low heat, melt together sugar and butter. Add milk and cocoa powder until ingredients have come to a boil.
  3. Add sugar and chocolate mixture into your bowl of oats. Stir until oats are thoroughly coated.
  4. With two spoons using the drop method, spoon your cookie mixture onto lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for one hour.
