A League of Their Own Themed Birthday Bash
The movie, A League of Their Own, may be more than 20 years old now, but it sure was a great movie! This little birthday girl LOVED baseball, so it made perfect sense to celebrate her 4th birthday with A League of Their Own Themed Birthday Bash!
The birthday party was held at a local park, which also happened to have a baseball field right nearby! It included peach, red, pink, and gold as the main colors used and of course, vintage baseball decorations and peach accents rounded out the styling for this event.
Party Envy by Charlene made most of the decorations and also hit up local antique shops to see what other great finds could be used in decorating for the birthday party! They did an amazing job styling this birthday bash!
Around 20 people were invited to celebrate with the birthday girl and a baseball-themed party would never work without serving hot dogs, soda, and sweets!
The dessert table was definitely a favorite of Party Envy by Charlene , complete with cake, pie, cupcakes, cookies and candy. There was also a peach piñata and a lemonade stand! How All-American is that?!
DIY projects that were done were the peach piñata and the lemonade stand. Oli and Liv Designs also created a custom baseball uniform for the birthday girl. How sweet!
Of course, the kids had lots of games they were able to play since the party was in the park! They played ring toss and had tons of fun hitting around some baseballs! And the piñata! Oh, they loved the piñata!
Overall, this was such a fun party and the design of it turned out incredible! This birthday girl will definitely be a future member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League and like Mae says in the movie, “Hi, my name’s Mae, and that’s more than a name, that’s an attitude.”
