Glamorous 40th Birthday Party

Birthday parties aren’t just for little kids! No matter how old you turn, it is always a reason to throw a party – and that is just what Krista of Hoopla Events did. She got to style a Glamorous 40th Birthday Party! Krista was inspired by this super chic confetti invitation by Tiny Prints and decided the party had to be based around these colors. It was the perfect amount of sophistication and glamour for a 40th celebration! The venue was at the Oly Rock Fish Grill, which provided the perfect opportunity to host a get-together! The fireplace area was a great spot to put a few gifts, flowers, and the party favors.There was a great seating area that was perfect for sitting around and having drinks. Tassel garlands from Fancy and Fold added to the jumbo balloons which helped anchor the space and made for one lovely lounge area! A touch of festiveness was added with a personalized “40 and fabulous” banner from Made by a Princess.A picture of the birthday lady and her friends was a great personal touch next to the votives that Always The Occasion did. Adding that stylish and personalized look to the lounge area was so easy with custom pillows in the party colors. Did you know that you could find custom pillows at Tiny Prints!?
Krista was able to set up a custom space for dining. Beautiful florals provided a lovely centerpiece for the table. Sparkling votives dressed up the space and helped tie it to the lounge area.Each place setting had napkins tied off in gold glittery ribbon and gold paper straws with custom straw flag toppers from Swish Printables.And you just have to have that perfect drink to celebrate being 40 and fabulous!A beautiful dessert table was styled atop a black sequin runner. Beautiful bouquets of flowers were displayed on each side of a stunning two-tiered centerpiece cake by Cakeitecture Bakery.  More votives were placed alongside the trendy ceramic number and letter dishes that were filled with color-coordinating candy.Scrumptious cupcakes made their dessert table debut and looked perfect!These preppy pink cake pops by Morsel’s Party Planning were super gorgeous with the gold sprinkles that matched the bling sticks from Made by a Princess.Don’t you love the sleek, modern look of this cake with a touch of gold?White trays were lined with printed patterned paper which displayed mouth-watering sugar cookies from Auntie Bea’s and coordinating mini Oreos from Bella’s Bakery.

A wonderful way to thank guests is gifting them with their own notepads! Tiny Prints designed these beauties which coordinate with several other items.  They make the perfect party favor!What a fabulous way to celebrate being 40 years young with your closest friends and family – enjoying each other’s company and all the delicious sweets!
