A Modern Romance Valentine’s Day Party

modern romance shoot 2Laura Atkinson of The Sweet Stylist put together this modern take on a Modern Romance Valentine’s Day Party with a playful palette of ivory, pinks, black and some serious sparkles. “I wanted to create something that encapsulated the love element of Valentine’s Day, but was also modern and fun. The paperie was clean and modern with a nod toward the traditional cupid’s arrows. Creative use of typography kept the design crisp and fun. Play on words such as “I’m Donuts Over You” aimed to raise a smile or two. The table was styled around gorgeous pink rose arrangements by Tarnia Williams Flowers For Weddings and statement lettered balloon backdrop by Bubblegum Balloons – All you need is LOVE after all! Everything was set on the dramatic canvas of the sequined tablecloth. The tasty dessert treats were made by Melissa Woodland Cakes and included raspberry macarons, vanilla bean cupcakes, strawberry mousse, dipped mallows and mini iced donuts. The table was finished off with a delicious sweet selection from The Sweet Stylist”.
