Travel Themed Bridal Shower

A vibrant, spring bridal shower overlooking Aspen Mountain was the perfect place to celebrate the excitement and anticipation of this bride’s upcoming nuptials! Inspired by the couple’s love story, Gold Leaf Event Design & Production conceptualized and designed a Travel Themed Bridal Shower for the vivacious bride, and the important women who have touched her life!

Everything about this event can be summed up by the bride, who was wearing a brilliant floor length, teal and navy Parker dress. “I arm wrestled some cute guy in the Red Onion. We fell in love before I even beat him, then traveled the world together, went to New York for the Super Bowl, got engaged in front of the Statue of Liberty, and are now planning a wedding in Aspen. Pretty crazy how much can happen in one year. I went from being totally lost to totally happy.”  Awe …  How romantic!

As guests were greeted with an assortment of crudités, they were offered a specialty cocktail, served in clear glass bottles with orange polka dot straws to boot!  These are incredibly cute, especially with the great tent signs in front of them!

The fun multicolored arrangements by Carolyn’s Flowers, accented by gold airplanes and hot air balloon decals, aligned on a funky melon colored linen, surrounded by a mix of bright jewel toned flatware, made for a fabulous focal point, and beautiful color palette.  Everything was bright and spunky and was sure to liven everyone’s spirits the second they walked into the door!

The shower was held at The Sky Hotel Aspen Mountain Room.  It couldn’t have been a more beautiful setting and everything was laid out just perfectly .  I really love the multi-colored place settings that the guests enjoyed.  Such a bright, fun color pop for a wonderful wedding shower!

Gourmet pizzas were made to match the locations that mark the highlights of this couple’s relationship, and wonderful signs boasted the ingredients of each pie.  What a unique and fun idea!  And wow … do those pizzas look spectacular, or what?!

Salads and appetizers also made an appearance at the shower and they couldn’t have been put together more beautifully!  

Guests are still dreaming of the deliciousness that is Sugar Bakery’s carrot cake!  It was simple, yet so elegant and the flowers that surrounded the cake were truly breathtaking! Delicious!

The Pottery Barn globe reading their wedding date, the couple’s names, and the quote “The World is Ours” couldn’t be more accurate for these two!  What a great detail to add into a beautiful shower theme!

Hal Williams Photography was able to take some gorgeous pictures of the soon-to-be bride and groom and how cute does the bride look with all of her best pals to wish her well?!?!  What a wonderful day to celebrate the upcoming marriage.  It looks like this is destined to be the perfect marriage.  Bon Voyage!
