Snow White Birthday Party

Shauna Krantz of Cupcake With Character styled this Snow White Birthday Party for her daughter, Ella’s 5th birthday! Shauna was looking to do something a little different from all of the other Snow White inspired parties out there, so she focused on the woodland aspect of the story.

For the dessert table backdrop, Shauna used burlap, twine, clothespins and fabric bunting. She also made a red ruffled table cloth to make the dessert table “pop” with color. Slabs of wood from Michaels and Joann Fabric really brought out that woodland feel and worked great for the cookie desserts and cupcakes. Simply Bashing hand-made the red and navy glittered dessert stands for the apples and cake. Shauna also incorporated faux trees, moss, decorative birds and butterflies. Wow! Every detail was planned to perfection!

Now for the cake … the cake was really a showstopper! Vista of  Dolce Vista Cakes is such an amazing artist. Each detail of the cake fit the theme perfectly. She created each element of the cake by hand, including the grass, trees, flowers, mushrooms, and each woodland animal. Wow … simply amazing!

Another highlight of the dessert table was the mushroom cake pops by Autumn of Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins! Shauna placed a foam block in a mini wood crate that she painted gold. She then covered the foam with moss. What a great DIY cake pop holder!

How awesome are these pretty desserts?! Glittered candy apples, apple cookies, chocolate Oreo apples and apple topped magic mirror cookie stacks were certainly eye-catchers on this gorgeous dessert table. So pretty!

Can the birthday girl be any cuter?! Love her Snow White inspired tutu by Punk N Pie Couture and glittered gold crown photo prop by Fancy and Fold.

Other amazing details included a custom watercolor silhouette of the birthday girl and a customized ‘Who’s the fairest…’ magic mirror. So cute and clever!

Pretty My Party’s apple and striped wood utensils even make an appearance on the dessert table!

Guests received these cute woodland animal party favor cups. The day was absolutely perfect and Katie Moffitt was on hand to capture every detail of the party.
