Rooftop Garden Wedding Styled Shoot

Nothing gets me more excited than styled photo shoots! Getting to see dreams come alive and seeing all of the pieces come together is such a rush.

Picking out perfect details and seeing the vendors work to make a photo shoot or promotional event come alive is so much fun. So of course I was excited to see the results of the latest one that came across my desk. The theme? A Rooftop Garden Wedding Styled Shoot! The colors were purple with lots of greenery and a touch of succulents.

This styled shoot came together through the coordination of Nicole Arend Weddings & Events and was set up to emulate the scene for a romantic summer wedding. The first plan of action was to find the perfect venue, and once this was found, the rest easily fell into place! It was held at SOHO63 and as soon as Nicole saw the outside fireplace at the venue, there was no doubt that she knew it could be transformed into a beautiful rooftop ceremony with lots of greenery. “Purple at weddings always catches my eye, as it’s a very royal color. The big trend for weddings is still the use of succulents, and since I saw this as more of a summer wedding, I thought artichokes would be a great plan to use without using the typical cactus”, Nicole said. Ummmm…. We agree! It’s gorgeous!

Next, finding the right vendors to make sure the vision would come together as planned took a lot of thought and consideration. All of these beautiful scenes were captured by Memories Through Time Photography and it was imperative to find a florist that could take Nicole’s vision and create a design that was more than expected. Crazy Daisy Flowers & Gifts definitely ran with her vision! The accents of wild orchids around the event definitely captured an exotic and romantic feel!
