Polka Dot Inspired Wedding

This whimsical polka dot inspired wedding, captured by Odd Sparrow Photography, played off of the bride and groom’s playful personalities and their vision for a fun, colorful and casual wedding. The couple didn’t have a specific theme in mind, but came up with confetti – colorful – and super fun, so an unofficial polka theme was born! They used circle garlands for the ceremony space from The Paper Place, and using those as inspiration, the bride sewed the rest of their tent decorations using a variety of multicolored and patterned origami papers. The bride also wanted to include her grandmother’s extensive button collection into the wedding, so she got the idea of making button bouquets online. With the help of their families and adding in her mother’s-in-law’s button collection, they had enough button flowers for the table decor. A friend of the couple made pins for all the guests to wear, and the bride’s mom outdid herself on the three whimsical circle cakes. Guests were treated to fun favors – Kraft coffee bags dressed up with bows and googly eyes that looked like little monsters, filled with moustache and polka dot cookies that were baked by the bride’s mother.
