Nautical Themed Baby Shower

Preparing for baby is always such a fun and special time in many parents-to-be lives! And it’s always made even more special when they are able to gather all of their friends and family for a baby shower before the impending arrival! This couple was no different and because of where they lived, they were in love with the idea of having a Nautical Themed Baby Shower! This shower was held at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club and while it included all of the elements of your typical baby shower, it ended with a beautiful harbor cruise that was such a fun and unique way to celebrate with their loved ones! The soon-to-be maternal grandpa has a yacht at the club, so they were able to get fun photographs with the yacht and spend a fun afternoon at a fun location! The soon-to-be parents have known each other since middle school, reconnected somewhat recently, and have now been together for 3+ years. They just got married last summer and are now expecting a baby boy that they plan to name “Mason.” Therefore, it was a fun idea to include cute Mason Jar decorations for the baby shower! Love that idea! Everything was put together and made with love. Rhonda Delgado coordinated the majority of the event and took care of the designs that were found around the shower.  There were also beautiful homemade desserts, fun instant photos, cards for advice, and more!  Perfect! The shower was held outdoors and the weather was just gorgeous for this beautiful baby shower!  Shrimp cocktail was served, along with other wonderful appetizers that the guests were able to enjoy at the lovely outdoor tables.  And look at those sweet water bottle labels!  How cute! The desserts were done by Holly Holcomb and they turned out perfect!  Lovely white chocolate covered strawberries were gorgeous with the blue stripes on them.  Perfect for the nautical theme AND the upcoming baby boy on his way! The photographer, dear darling photography, was able to whisk the couple away for a quick mini shoot during the baby shower. They were able to grab some beautiful shots with the Newport Beach, CA background, along with shots on grandpa’s yacht! How fun! The day ended with an awesome shot of the entire group right before they took off for their harbor cruise. Everything was purely sweet and planned to perfection! Congrats parents-to-be!
