Nautical First Birthday Party Theme

First birthdays are always such a fun time for not only the little birthday baby, but for the parents and loved ones, too!  Little Baby Gabriel was set to turn 1-year-old and, of course, nothing would do but the best for this party!  Mom requested a classy take on a classic nautical idea, so it was quickly decided that this was going to be the perfect Nautical First Birthday Party Theme for this little guy!

The event was held at a private residence that incorporated a lolly buffet for 12 cute kiddos, with around 50 guests total.  Because of the nautical theme, the colors of the event incorporated navy, red, blue, and white.  Le Petite Soiree styled this cute birthday party and it was absolutely adorable!

The lolly buffet served 7 different types of candy including malt balls, chocolate sprinkles, sour straps, chewy milk bars, jelly beans, strawberries and cream, and of course… lollipops!  YUMMY!

No birthday party is complete without a cake!  Velvetier provided vanilla cupcakes that were decorated to match the nautical theme, along with a decadent chocolate mudcake with white chocolate ganache and fondant decorations that was, literally, the icing on the cake!  

All of the paper products by Memories are Sweet were custom created for the event.  The table centerpieces incorporated the nautical theme by using sand and flowers in glass jars with twine. Matching runners that went to the main lolly buffet table were also used, which was such an awesome addition to the event. And the backdrop on the main dessert table was such a perfect addition for a nautical theme!

Party favors included glowsticks, yo-yos, and of course … CANDY!  Everything was wrapped together in a sweet pack for the kids to take home. 

Everyone commented how the bright colors at the birthday party were a highlight. It was the perfect party on the perfect day for the perfect little birthday boy. Gabriel had a great birthday and who could blame him with this awesome theme!
