Modern Yellow Wedding
Katie and Nick were married on one of the most beautiful weekends of the all-too-short Chicago summer. But if there’s anything to note about Chicagoans, it’s that we have a knack for squeezing as much as we possibly can into those few warm months. And fittingly enough, this gorgeous Chicago couple packed a lot of fun into their unique and special day. Katie and Nick incorporated a lot of Chicago elements into their urban loft-style wedding – from photos at Wrigley Field to a hot dog stand and skyline themed cake at their reception. Their color scheme of Yellow and Gray, with a chevron print, was simple, modern, and elegant. Their unique centerpieces featuring twists of real lemon added a bright and fresh element to the room. Their high-energy dance floor remained packed throughout the evening with friends and family who were in the mood to celebrate the future of this lovely couple. Katie and Nick were sent off in style at the end of the night with a grand sparkler exit.
