Thegivingkeys.com was the theme of this gorgeous Christmas tea party hosted by Colette and Kaitlin of La Fete Weddings at Colette’s home in Santa Barbara, Ca. Each attendee was invited to the holiday table with a place card that had an inscribed key with a different word for each gal at the table. My card read, “We are awed by your ability to … and my key had “inspire” inscribed on it. Each of us at the table had to say why we thought we were given the word/key we were given and the mother/daughter wedding planners (who hosted party) said why they gave each of the the keys. It was a very emotional evening spent with girlfriends in the “biz.” Each gal brought food to the tea, which included tea sandwiches, breads, fruit, cookies, champagne and tea. All of us agreed we look forward to our annual tea as one of our most precious events of each year.
