Every mom knows that when your little girl turns 1, a fabulous party needs to be planned! That’s exactly what this mom did with this Sweet Pastel First Birthday Party!
Mom’s inspiration was to use simple pastel spring colors of peach, ivory, pink and green with accents of gold. The dessert stands and mason jars were from her small collection. She loves collecting mason jars and various cake stands and dessert pieces. She wanted to incorporate gold accents, so she bought paper mache letters “KATE” and spray painted them with gold glitter. The mason jars were also painted gold as well and all the details came together beautifully.
Personalized details for any party are a great way to incorporate the guest of honor. The gold glitter paper mache letters were the perfect complement to the dessert table.
What a sweet family! We love this family photo with mom holding a gigantic balloon with tassel fringe. A personalized chalkboard sign with the birthday girl’s details and favorites made a great personalized party detail!
On the tables were pink and gold table numbers in white pedestal frames on blush doilies. Pretty pink flowers were places next to the table numbers and were simple yet beautiful.
A gorgeous pink and white ombre cake was adorned with fun silver glitter heart toppers!
A smaller white ruffled cake looked beautiful with a gold number 1 on top and served as the birthday girl’s smash cake!
Desserts included macaroons, cake pops, cupcakes and cookies. Yum!
Personalized pink heart cookies were a sweet touch to the party.
Pretty tassel garland hung over the cake and matched the color palette of the party.
Kraft boxes with white balloons tied to them served as party favors.
The birthday girl had a great time digging into her smash cake! What a sweet party to celebrate a sweet girl turning 1!
