Ready to Pop was the theme of Abbey’s baby girl shower. After trying for a few years, the couple is happily awaiting their first baby girl. Being that purple and grey are the colors of the nursery, Abbey’s friends wanted to bring in the color scheme for her first shower. Trying to incorporate the Pop theme into a morning brunch, they also included food details like “pop”corn, cake “pops,” apple “pop”overs, “pop”pyseed muffins, and Lolly “pops.” Many of the paper details of the day were homemade circle garland and place cards. The game was a made up Mad lib about Abbey’s trip to the hospital and her birth story.
