Kiira Turnbow of Eye Heart Pretty Things created this lovely vintage watercolor baby shower for her friend, Amy of Amy Stone Photography, who was expecting a baby girl. She found inspiration in some vintage Italian watercolored crepe decorations she found on Etsy. Going the DIY route, she decided to make her own, delicately hand painting white paper decorations with watercolors. From there, the rest of the shower took on a vintage watercolor look. Check out all of the DIY tutorials on Kiira’s blog: Watercolor Paper Party Decorations | Watercolor Chanedelier | Paint Chip Garland | Painted Onesies. She also made chalkboard signs, a cake stand out of a wooden sign and two wooden jewelry boxes, and all of the gorgeous paper goods.
A homemade brunch menu was enjoyed by guests. Mini Krispy Kreme donuts topped the chocolate milk jars. Kiira also made a long cake that revealed beautiful layers of pastel colors inside. Guests were also treated to a Bubbly Bar with champagne, fruit puree and fresh fruit, as well as some non-alcoholic mixers.

Viva la Violette
I love this shower–so many cute details, especially the twist on the rainbow cake.
