Vintage Rose Garden First Birthday Party

First birthdays are such a monumental occasion! OK, sometimes it seems like it might be more for us parents, but hey…  we want our babies to have the best first birthday EVER! This mom was no different and was so excited to start working on her little baby girl’s first birthday event!  After running across some images of Rose Gardens and getting some ideas in her head immediately, it didn’t take long to come up with the theme for this big day, a Vintage Rose Garden First Birthday Party!  It was fit for a little princess!

Mom, who is the owner of Farrally Paperie wanted to bring together a few different patterns and the vintage aqua and pinks made a lovely color combo!

For the slightly older ones, there were cone cello bags filled with blue cotton candy and robin colored sixlets. For the much older ones, they received flower seeds in custom-made packets that read “Children, like seeds, grow with love warmth attention.”  How unique and adorable and all were made by Farrally Paperie!

vintage-rose-birthday-decorations birthday-party-signage birthday-invitationThere were many DIY projects that went along with this birthday bash! Fabric garlands, invitations, candy buffet labels, signs, the first birthday sign, following the months picture banner, paper rosette backdrop, pom-poms and paper circle garlands and tissue paper tassel garland were just some of the items that were handmade by Farrally Paperie. Phew! That’s sounds like a lot of work!  All of the desserts were handmade, as well, minus the main tiered cake and smash cake.

It matched her outfit perfectly!

birthday-age-signSince this was the birthday girl’s first birthday, Mom really wanted to start some traditions. Therefore, she made the picture banner that portrayed individual pictures of the birthday girl for each month from birth up until 11 months old. A 16×20 birthday poster was also created displaying all her favorites and details. Each year the family plans on creating one of these and on her 18th birthday, they will give them to her in a book form, along with letters each year from us.  Awe…  Love!
