Sweetie Pie First Birthday Party

Some mommas just know from the time their sweet little baby is born what the theme will be for the first birthday party! This Mommy sure did! Her little baby was the sweetest little girl in the whole world, so she knew right away that she wanted to have a Sweetie Pie First Birthday Party! (Never mind how quickly that changed after this sweet little girl started teething)!

County-Fair-Birthday-PartyThe party quickly took a fall county fair spin, which had so many awesome details it’s hard to know where to begin!

Birthday-OutfitBefore the party, there was a first birthday photo shoot done by E. DuBois Photography, complete with a smash pie in lieu of a smash cake. Perfect! Many of the colors from the birthday photos served as inspiration for the party. Red, orange, pink, and yellows were used to create an unexpected fall fair color combo. Perfect! Invitations, made by DimplePrints, went out and of course this sweet girl won first place for Cutest One Year Old!

Homemade caramel corn, cotton candy, snow cones, and more were served. Now that’s fair food! And don’t forget the corn dog bites, apple pie, and fresh farm produce. Yum!

Sweetie-Pie-ApplesThere were also some fun fall games, which everyone enjoyed taking part in.

County-Fair-Photo-DisplayHighlights of the party included the pink frame with chicken wire and birthday girl photos, along with the awesome fabric garland.

County-Fair-Main-TableThere was also an extraordinary First Place Ribbon Backdrop that was perfect for the event! Burlap is so easy to hang and inexpensive to buy. Perfect!

County-Fair-RefreshmentsFun ice cold refreshments were set up for the guests with wonderful decor surrounding the cups and items to drink.

County-Fair-PopcornLook at these awesome popcorn holders! All DIY, folks. Such a great and creative idea!

Sweetie-Pie-DecorationsDetails around the party were absolutely gorgeous and fit in with the wonderful fall fair theme perfectly. The front door was decorated and ready for guests to arrive with some of the printables that were created by DimplePrints.

County-Fair-Door-EntrywayThe fall porch pumpkin display is such a great repurposed decoration! Not only was it perfect for the party, but now it can continue to be used for the rest of the fall season. Genius!

County-Fair-Apple-BinOld crates fit this party perfectly and the mini gourds set up around the event were such a wonderful detail!

Sweetie-Pie-Thanks-YoursParty favors were wrapped boxes adorned with cute streamer medallions. What perfect winnings from any true county fair!

Sweetie-Pie-DetailsThis first birthday party was definitely as sweet as the sweetie pie it was for! It definitely gets a blue ribbon from us!
