Southern Charm Birthday Celebration

Who doesn’t adore all things from the South?!?!  From southern magnolias to sitting on the porch in white rocking chairs sipping iced tea, it seems like a pretty ideal place to live!  This mama 100% agrees and for her son’s 2nd birthday, she wanted it to emulate everything that represented their lifestyle and the little guy’s roots.  So it was quickly decided on throwing a Southern Charm Birthday Celebration for this southern gentleman!

Southern-Charm-Birthday-PartyPrintables for the event were just the cutest things ever! Kelli from Print & Cut Your Printables and K Customables provided the wonderful array of signs and banners around the birthday party and everything was perfectly placed and matched. Gorgeous!

Southern-Charm-PrintableThis little guy is the epitome of Southern charm, from his love for sweet tea, barbecue, watermelon, country music, and all things in the dirt!  To bring in all of his favorites, his Mom planned a good ole’ fashion backyard barbecue, including playing in the sprinkler, swinging with friends, and playing in their play house. What a fun time!

Southern-Charm-FoodWe just love these Moon Pies! What a great addition to the dessert table!

Southern-Charm-Drinks Southern-Charm-Drink-Details Southern-Charm-Tub-DrinksThe biggest hit of the party was the “Sweeter in the South” style drink cart serving sweet tea, lemonade, and Cheerwine (a cherry soda sold only in the Carolina’s).  Seriously … how awesome is this?! I sure can’t think of a better way to serve beverages at a perfect southern birthday party!

Southern-Charm-Birthday-Details Southern-Comfort-Party-DecorationsThe decorations at the event were perfectly detailed and so sweet! Balloon wreaths are so popular right now and the one for this birthday party was absolutely the best! And a southern charm birthday celebration just wouldn’t work without some great flowers from the South!

Southern-Charm-Goody-BagsSince southern boys love to go fishing, the children decorated fishing tackle boxes for the party favor and filled them with bobbers & bait. How fun and such a great, unique idea!

Southern-Charm-Dessert-TableOverall, this was one perfectly styled and classy party for this little birthday boy! It oozed of Southern charm and everything was perfectly planned with every detail complementing the other! What a lucky little guy and what a beautiful birthday celebration!
