Pretty Pink and Mint First Birthday

stella1Stella James’ Pretty Pink and Mint First Birthday was fast approaching. Momma and Daddy wanted to make her first party as special as Stella. With the help of family, friends and some key professionals, it was completely gorgeous. The custom invitations set the mood with beautiful blending of French inspiration and first birthday details. The family got together to help make hundreds of paper pom poms, fill the candy bar and make a hot air inspired prop. A creative chalk board welcomed the guests, along with a yard full of balloons pinned to the ground. There were photos strung on twine of Stella’s first year. The candy bar was second to none, and so was the cake. The three-tier, multicolored vanilla bean cake with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream icing was the prettiest and tastiest smash cake ever! Mom wanted to also have carnival type games for the older kids. There was a ring toss game and a balloon dart game, a photo booth, and champagne for the grownups and goodies bags with iPhone apps for all!

  1. What a gorgeous party! The colors and details are just perfect and the photography is beautiful. I want a canvas of that overhead shot of the ruffle cake.
