This Pomegranate Inspired 60th Birthday in Wine Country was absolutely breathtaking! It was inspired with a marsala and blush color palette, which is stunning for this winter season.
Simple Little Details did an amazing job with the event design and planned this surprise birthday for her own mother! Allora Vineyards was the perfect venue for an intimate lunch with all of the family and closest of friends. What a beautiful day for an outdoor celebration under trees surrounded by the vineyards!
Pomegranates are very special in the Armenian culture as they represent life and prosperity. It was the perfect centerpiece to use as inspiration for the entire design.
Rustic farm tables were brought in with a beautiful garland going down the center, filled with marsala colors and blush florals. Pomegranates were tucked in throughout the event and each place setting had a pomegranate that said “celebrate” in gold calligraphy from BFlores Design.
The ruby water goblets added a beautiful accent to the tables. A lounge area was also created for guests to sit and enjoy their wine and the beautiful scenery. The cranberry velvet couch was a favorite, as it was a statement piece that really brought the whole design together.
The glass coffee tables were topped with vintage brass vases filled with gorgeous marsala wine colored and blush florals from Mack Floral Design.
They also had a few wine barrels that we used as cocktail tables. Everyone also really loved the calligraphy mirror sign that quoted “Age is like fine wine – it gets better with time”. And of course … lots of wine was available from the vineyard for all of the birthday guests!
Sweet Tooth Confections put on a wonderful dessert spread for all of the guests! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and macaroons, fruit tarts and lemon drops were perfect additions for everyone to indulge in!
What is a wine-themed celebration without a cheese tray? What a wonderful addition for appetizers for the guests to enjoy.
When the birthday girl arrived to the party, she was in shock! She slowly absorbed the beauty around her and was so touched that such a beautiful celebration for her was created! What a wonderful theme for a 60th birthday party!
