Little Woman Design Cocktail Party

From Little Woman Design: Little Woman Design is a graphic design studio located in the Greater Philadelphia area that specializes in wedding and event stationery. We opened our doors on Dec. 1, 2011 and decided to celebrate our first year in business by throwing a First Anniversary Cocktail Party to thank our couples, family and friends for their support. We met with Randi Martin, owner of Always Fabulous Events, to help plan and design our party. We wanted the party to reflect our personality and design aesthetic as well as be a great time for all of our guests. Randi helped design the overall look of our party, transforming our venue into a great space for a cocktail party. To set the tone for our party, we designed a foil-stamped cocktail party invitation featuring the Little Woman from our logo coming out of a cocktail glass. The invitation was expertly foil-stamped by the Paravano Company on metallic grey paper and mounted onto a metallic orange card stock. The lined metallic grey invitation envelope was beautifully hand-lettered by the always skillful Lynda Asprinio of Write Away for You Calligraphy. Cathie and Al Berrey-Green of BG Productions were on hand to record the evening photographically as well as videographically. Stefanie Kitchner, owner of Ciao Bella Cakes, designed us an unbelievably delicious two-tier cake in our company’s color palette and featuring the Little Woman from our logo! Tanti Lina from Papertini designed the wonderful floral arrangements seen on the tables and bookcase at Soiree Philadelphia, the wedding research boutique that we had chosen as our venue. Syngergetic Sound and Lighting cast our logo as a GOBO light against the brick wall while also softening the light in the studio space with an amber gel cover. And while our guests ate the fabulous food catered by Moro’s Restaurant, they were able to listen to the great jazz ensemble headlined by flutist Walter Bell. It was a fantastic night shared with our wonderful guests!
