Pretty Horses & Hairbows Third Birthday Party

Stacy of  She’s Kinda Crafty sent us this adorable Horses & Hairbows party she planned for her daughter’s 3rd birthday! Her daughter has been obsessed with ponies ever since their family vacation to Hilton Head when she got to ride on a pony named Cookie, so Stacy thought it would be fun to hire a pony for the party. With the basic theme out of the way, Stacy enlisted the help of her friend Marie Thomas Designs to help put together a southern preppy pony party!

The house then transformed into “Piper Downs” for the day!  Now we all know that every equestrian loves to show off their prize ribbons and trophies! Of course some crafty and unique prize ribbons were included in the party decor, which were made by Deliciously Darling! There was even a horseshoe-shaped  ribbon wreath made for the occasion!

The table backdrop was a large menu board made to look like a chalkboard! Desserts included cookies from Goosie Girl, chocolate horse lollipops and cupcakes made by Stacy, and a pretty cake made by a local Publix.

Fun activities included Pony Rides, Pin the Tail on the Pony and Derby Hat Making. For the favors, Stacy hand made a satin bow for each guest and attached them to a canvas board. Each guest also received a trophy favor, designed by Piggy Bank Parties, that they filled up with candy and stickers!

  2. Hello,

THis party is so sweet. Do you by any chance remember the size of the banner and the lawn sign?

  3. Hello,

Love the party, I am doing one for my daughter as well and I was wondering if you could tell me where you found the horse silhouette for the pin the bow on horse. I looked below under vendors and resources but didn’t see it listed.

    Thank you
