Gobble ‘Til You Wobble Kid’s Thanksgiving

gobbleThanksgiving is just a gobble away and Jennifer of Banner Events is sharing this adorable Gobble ‘Til You Wobble Kid’s Thanksgiving Party with tons of cute and clever ideas your children are sure to love! Jen and her friend, Vivian of Kerr Kreations, came up with an idea for an Indian Trading Post instead of a dessert table. Yummy desserts included Pumpkin Parfaits, Maize Favors (Faux Indian corn favors fashioned from dried corn husks tied around small bags of Reese’s Pieces candy with tiny pieces of raffia. Each ear of corn was decorated on the top with a party flag and layered in a harvest basket), Gobble Goodies (Rice Krispy treats rolled into small balls and attached to one half of an Oreo for the body, using frosting. Candy corn is ‘feathered’ around the base of another Oreo half and attached. Candy eyes and a candy corn beak were added to complete the gobble goodies), Pumpkin Muffins, Teepee Cupcakes, Turkey and Cornucopia Cake Pops from Pop.O.Licious Cake Pops, Mini Apple Pies, and a Blessing Mix (Cellophane bags were filled with a mix of bugles, peanuts, candy corn, pretzels and candy orange slices. A fold over topper was affixed to the top of each bag and an ingredients list and poem was added to the front.) All coordinating party printables are from Anders Ruff Custom Designs. The kids were dressed in their Indian headbands and pilgrim hats and played with rustic fans, flutes, and toys!
